Ask Tennishead: More leg strength please!

Chris emailed for advice about getting more power in his legs to help his new open-stance forehand.

The symptoms
Ive recently switched to playing with an open-stance forehand, and Im also trying to drive through my legs more on my serve. I feel that I am lacking strength in my legs to take full advantage of these technical changes. Can you suggest any suitable gym work to build leg strength?
