Jankovic, who faces Japan’s Misaki Doi in the first round, met fans during the Prince Hub launch night in Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex, which will be active throughout the tournament.

The Serb is now playing with the Prince Red LS 105 racket and reached the semi-finals in Brisbane this month, her third consecutive last-four appearance to follow on from a strong end to 2013.

The racket’s dense 18×19 string pattern is designed to add extra spin and help control shots, while players are able to generate pace with little backlift.

Fans also got the chance to meet two rising stars of the game, world No.53 Annika Beck of Germany and France’s Lucas Pouille.

On Sunday world No.3 David Ferrer will spend time signing autographs at the Hub alongside American John Isner, before six-time Australian Open doubles champions Mike and Bob Bryan make an appearance on Monday.

Alongside the professionals, fans are invited to use Prince’s interactive racket selector to choose their perfect weapon, while the company’s full merchandise range is available.
