Novak Djokovic has confirmed his collaboration with Andre Agassi has come to an end after just 10 months

The struggling former world No.1, who failed to register a single victory during the ‘Sunshine Double,’ has also parted company with his assistant coach Radek Stepanek.

“The private relationship with Stepanek was and will remain great, and Novak has enjoyed working with him and learning from him,” stated the Serbian’s website.

“He remains grateful and appreciative of all the support he has received from Radek during the last period.”

Agassi revealed that his alliance with Djokovic was over last week. “With only the best intentions, I tried to help Novak,” said the American in a brief statement.

“We far too often found ourselves agreeing to disagree. I wish him only the best moving forward."

It’s not clear at this stage what Djokovic plans to do regarding his lack of support staff, but he will embark on a short holiday before commencing his clay-court preparations.

He will next be in action at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, which begins on April 14.
