Doubles specialist Wes Moodie is the latest world-class addition to the Tennishead team.

The 29-year-old world No.14 will be sharing his experiences from the tour next year as he travels the globe playing ATP Masters Series and Grand Slam events.

The South African joins regular Tennishead bloggers WTA Tour top 100 player Anne Keothavong, Sarah Borwell and Anna Fitzpatrick.

Moodie and regular partner Jeff Coetzee ended 2008 on a high by beating the American Bryan brothers in their last round robin match at the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai last week.

That result came days after the pair reached the final of the last Masters Series event of 2008 in Paris.

The 6ft 5” powerhouse enjoyed some impressive results during the first half of the year, including his fourth ATP title in Estoril, Portugal, in April.

Moodie and Coetzee reached the Doha final early in the season and followed that up with a semi-final effort at the Australian Open. They recorded semi-final finishes at ATP Masters Series events in Miami, Monte Carlo and Madrid.

Moodie hit the headlines in 2005 when he won the Wimbledon title alongside Aussie Stephen Huss after the pair qualified for the event.

He also bagged tour titles in Adelaide and Valencia in 2007 with another Aussie doubles specialist, Todd Perry.

He is one of a number of players that form the MCTA touring academy and who work with Tennishead Coaching Editor Dave Sammel and Tennishead Fitness Editor Jez Green.
