Martina watch: Jungle, what jungle?

You don’t win 59 grand slam titles without a hard-as-nails, never-say-die winning attitude and Martina Navratilova has been giving her jungle team-mates a taste of what it takes to be a sporting legend.

While the likes of Esther Rantzen, Carly Zucker and Nicola Mclean were blubbing in the jungle telegraph, Martina showed them how to get tough by hitting the dirt for a mini workout.

On Monday the 52-year-old got her first I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here victory under her belt when she beat Zucker to the luxury treasure chest. Her team’s reward was lashings of hot chocolate all round.

And 24 hours later she was busy preparing for her next physical challenge by hammering out some quick-fire press-ups.

The tennis star also showed she has a sharp sense of humour when chatting to ex-EastEnder Joe Swash about washing certain, er, body parts in camp.

Joe confessed to Martina that he doesn’t want anyone seeing his ‘little wiener’ which he told her is called ‘Alfie’.

Martina joked: “From what I hear, men give their penis a name for one reason only – that they don’t have a total stranger making all their decisions for them.”

We got to see a rare softer edge to the American, as well, which emerged when she teamed up with Star Trekker George Takei for a sing-a-long by the camp fire.

Of course, it wasn’t the first time we’ve seen Martina singing in the rain. Remember this?!
