Clothes: Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Collection

The clothing giant and official outfitter to Wimbledon has unveiled its latest line of classic tennis clothing. It's well posh.

Ralph Lauren perhaps wouldnt be the first clothing company on your list when considering who to turn to for a new pair of tracky bottoms, but it is, after all, the official outfitter to Wimbledon.

The company is now in its third year of a sponsorship agreement with The All England Club that runs until 2010.

Ralph Lauren recently released its 2008 Wimbledon Collection, which features gear for the on-court officials in SW19 as well as some surprisingly nice everyday wear.

Granted, its not the sort of clobber youd throw on to pop down the local garage for a packet of bacon and a Sunday paper perhaps, but the line of classic cabled sweaters, blazers, vests and polo shirts would look the business in the right environment.

Its more Hurlingham than Hounslow, but there will be those out there that fancy a bit of classic cableknit. Each to their own, we say.
